The Cannelloni Crew get involved with National Storytelling Week
The Society for Storytelling was set up to promote the oldest art form in the world.
Storytelling is the oldest oral art. Many, many years ago, when the only form of communication was by word of mouth, stories were the sole means of education and spreading news. They taught who we were, where we came from and how we should treat each other.
National Storytelling Week, now in its 10th year was started to increase public awareness of the art, practice and value of oral storytelling and is held during the first week of February every year.
This year, Bella Italia has decided to participate in National Storytelling week with a selection of activities in our restaurants and online to promote the art of telling stories.
