What our customers say about us
★★★★★
"We ordered a Pizza and a Lasagna and they were both EXCELLENT.
The tomato sauce used in the Lanagna and on the Pizza was incredible and I could tell it didn't come out of a can but was made in-house. Super. I would go there again. Definitely."
★★★★★
"We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Service was prompt, and the waitstaff were very courteous and attentive, always checking in without being intrusive. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend! Thank you Beatrice and Liviu!"
Basildon’s Favourite Italian Restaurant
If you're looking for an Italian restaurant to eat and drink in Basildon, Bella Italia is a favourite for good reason. Our star of the show? Pasta. Rich, saucy, cheesy, and satisfying in all the right ways. From indulgent bakes to fiery tomato favourites, there’s something for every mood.
But it doesn’t stop there. Our menu also features hand-stretched pizzas, crispy chicken dishes, salads, and burgers, all designed to please. You can even round off your meal with one of our tempting desserts or a delicious coffee.
We believe great food should be great value too. Our set menu and special offers make it easy to enjoy your Italian favourites without breaking the bank.
Dining with little ones? Bella is one of the most popular family friendly restaurants in Basildon, and we’ve made family dining that bit easier with two flexible kids’ menu sizes. Our Smaller Portions come with a starter, mini main and dessert, ideal for younger ones or lighter appetites. For hungrier kids, the Larger Portions include mains that are 50% bigger, with heartier pasta and the same delicious Italian flavours. Both sizes come with a drink, and both are packed with proper Bella favourites. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference, and it’s one reason families keep coming back.
We also cater for all dietary preferences, with plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available.
Pasta & Pizza Is What We Do Best
At Bella Italia Basildon, pasta takes the spotlight. Think creamy carbonara, baked cheesy layers of lasagna and hearty bolognese, all made with quality ingredients and lots of love. Each dish is packed with flavour and made to comfort, excite and satisfy.
And if pizza’s your go-to? We’ve got plenty to choose from, all hand-stretched and topped with classic and creative toppings. You’ll also find chicken mains, salads and hearty burgers to complete the meal. There’s something for every taste.
